“Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion, put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city,” (Isaiah52:1)
How precious and wonderful for us to know that we are the daughters Jerusalem. Christa said. How wonderful to know that we are the daughters of God. As woman and mothers, there are such high demands put upon us. We are kept so busy that we hardly have time for ourselves. Time rushes by, days turn to months, months to years, and suddenly we realize we are exhausted. Drained of strength. Throughout the years we jsut had to carry everyones burdens. Our childrens. Our husbands, and our own. Many of us have never had the time to deal with the hurts of our failed marriage. The death of a child. The insecurity of a broken home. No, we are always running up and down serving everyone but ourselves.
Woman of God, the Bible says in Isaiah 52:2 “shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.” If your heart needs healing. If you have hurts you have been carrying for too long, then today your Father in Heaven wants to take it all away.
One by one, the woman raised their hands for prayer. God was moving, tears were flowing and hearts were mended.
