Gathering with the Christian men group G.L.O in Caledon on the 12 of October early Friday morning was truly a wonderful experience.

I am always so humbled to stand before the Son’s of God. I know that it is only because of God’s grace that I may have this great privilege. Today I want to confess before you that I have made many mistakes since Jesus saved my soul and set me free from a lifetime of misery.
Several months ago satan had my mind trapped in worry and doubt, and in a state of turmoil. Through my circumstances he was wearing me down physically, mentally and spiritually until I was so weary discouraged and depressed that I eventually threw my hands up in defeat. I was too tired to fight and resist his attacks. I delibrately went and sinned. I failed to act in a manner that pleases God, I rebelled, and it was sin. I cannot explain the depths of guilt and condemnation I felt. I thought that was it; the ministry Jesus had entrusted to me was destroyed. I had cheapened the sacrifice Jesus made for my salvation, healing, and life. It felt to me that because of my disobedience and rebellion that I was cut us off from God. I was suddenly in the depths of depression and despair. I cried before Jesus. I said: “I am so sorry. I am so sorry. Lord, I am so sorry.” I couldn’t find anything else to say, except cry before Him and say SORRY. Then Jesus spoke these words in my heart. “YOU ARE MY SON WILLIAM. I LOVE YOU. I HAVE FORGIVEN YOU. KEEP RUNNING THE RACE.”
One thing I can tell you today, His love is like no other.
Maybe there is some deed you have done lately that makes you feel dirty, and like one who has betrayed the Lord Jesus. Whatever error you have made, bring it before God, and stand up again. Don’t let the devil steal your testimonies. Jesus has equipped us to finish the race. In Luke 10:18-20 Jesus says to us: “I saw satan falling like a lightning[flash] from heaven. Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions; and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice and be glad for your names are enrolled in heaven.”
Based on what Jesus has said, I have absolutely no excuse for what I have done! You see, we have been given the power to obey God through the Holy Spirit living within us. We have been set free from the power of sin. We have been given power to obey God, and sin no longer has power over us. Satan cannot make us rebel against God. He cannot make us disobey God. He has absolutely no power over us, except what we allow him to have! It is impossible to walk in 100% obedience to God and His Word in our own strength. Therefore, my dear brothers, daily, we need to remind ourselves who and what we are in Christ Jesus our Lord. Daily we need to put on the Armour of God or face becoming the prey of satan. The word of God says that the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking who he may devour.
Let us always remember who we are. We are The Sons of God. Washed in His Blood.
