Reverend Johann Els invited me to share my testimony with his congregation on the 10th of November 2024. What a true man of God. What an example of how a Christian should be committed to serve God and His people. I praise God for the opportunity given to glorify God, bring hope, and share my testimony.
Message Summary:
I am humbled to have this time to share what God has done in my life. I’m an ex gangster, drug addict, alcholic, and prisoner of darkness. O the heart and mind of everlasting ruin! The fruits of being separated from God and overcome by sin! What a hell sin had turned my world into! Who could save me a wretched soul? O how I thank God for His all-powerful Son Jesus, the King of glory, the Savior of mankind, it is He who saved me. One day in 2007 at the age of 37 I fell on my knees, tears running down my cheeks, my heart beating hard in my chest as I repented of all my sin and cried out in desperation to Jesus to save me.
As I remained on my knees, I knew Jesus had heard me. I knew I had encountered Him. I believed that Jesus was about to help me. A great peace had come over me. I knew Jesus saved my soul. How great are the mercies of God!
