Message Summary:
1John 1:5-10; And this is the message, [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way]. [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the gospel represents]…………….1John 2:4,5,6; Whoever says, I know Him[I perceive, recognise, understand, and am acquainted with Him] but fails to keep and obey His commandments (teachings) is a liar, and the truth of the gospel is not in him. But he who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bares in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive that we are in Him. Whoever says he abides in Him ought [as a personal debt] to walk and conduct himself in the same way in which He walked and conducted Himself.
My brothers, we must come out of this world. We must live a life free from sin, because we can. God Himself, Jesus Christ, The Spirit of God dwells in us. 1John 3:9 says; “No one born (begotten) of God, [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practises sin, for God’s nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him] and he cannot practice sinning because he is born of God”. Because Christ lives in us, we can live a holy and sinless life before God and men. God’s Sons are a royal priesthood. A holy nation! A chosen generation! A people set apart for fellowship with God! Without holiness, and a sin frèe life, we will always be powerless. But, if God truly dwells in us, and if we are born of God, then we can take our places as overcomers with Jesus, as the Son’s of The Living God.
“What a blessing to minister to a small group of men with big hearts for Jesus”.
