Being among the inmates is truly a blessing. They are hungry for truth and gladly receive the Word of God. What an honor to serve such as these.

Jesus said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” My friends nothing on earth can match the value of your soul. The world might look at you as failures, nothing more than convicts. But when God looks upon you, He sees His most cherished possession. You are important to God. You are His son’s. Each one of you who have received Him are His son’s. If we expect glory with Him, we must now take up our cross and follow Him. In death or judgment it will little avail us what our external circumstances in life were. And surely our great concern ought to be what shall become of our immortal souls in the eternal state. Walk in humility! Allow God to remove your pride, your self-righteousness, and arrogance. Jesus said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble.” Serve Christ! Imitate Jesus! How delightful are the manifestations thereof! Happy are they who are much favored with them, but happier they who in heaven always behold His face!
