JESUS SAVES was the theme used for the Villiersdorp outreach. Posters with the message JESUS SAVES were put up all over Villiersdorp including at schools, clinics, liquor stores and shebeens.
Rain was forcasted for the day and the temperature was 15 degrees. Thick clouds hung over the sport grounds. But we prayed and trusted The Lord to hold back the rain. Moments after most knees bowed down before The King, accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour of their lives, the rain gently began to fall.
Scripture and message: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)
Today I bring you Good News, infact it is the best news you will ever hear. God Loves you so much that He gave His Son, Jesus, as ransom for you. It does not matter what problems you are facing, Jesus is above every one of them. There is hope my friends. Jesus is above every fear, above every addiction, above every circumstance, He is above every sickness, and above every kingdom and every government. Because Jesus fulfilled the work of redemption for you and me in such a humble, obedient and suffering manner, God His Father, in reward of it, gloriously exalted Him by raising Him from the dead and received Him up to heaven setting Him on His right hand and gave Jesus universal dominion, and a new title of honour and authority as Lord and Saviour. His Name is more superior than any other name, dignity or authority.
God in His infinite wisdom and sovereignity, appointed Jesus as Lord and Ruler over all and the universal judge of the world to the glory of God the Father. There is no other name in heaven or on earth by which you can be saved, but by the Name of Jesus Christ the Messiah. Jesus is always ready for you. Always ready to save, forgive, and help. If you are tired of yourself, the world and all its hurt and filth, if you are tired of the poverty, the gangs, the drugs then Jesus is everything you need. And more! How about it? Will you not give Jesus a chance today? The Bible says whosoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.
