Woman’s month celebration; Klawer community hall.

The event was arranged by the local SAPS to celebrate woman’s month and to encourage woman of the area that they don’t stand alone. William and Reverend John from the Dutch Reformed church were among those who were invited as speakers.

Message Summary:

Addressing the woman, William said; I would like to use this opportunity to apologize for every time you were abused and mistreated in your life. I don’t know if I may, nevertheless, I apologize on behalf of those individuals who caused you sadness, whether it has been a stranger, the system, your husband or your own children, I am sorry. May God heal you and bless you. Apostle Paul writes in PHILLIPIANS 3:14; “I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward”. You must PRESS ON, you are the backbone in your homes, even though the man is the head, without the backbone, he can do nothing. Without your involvement in the community, it will fail. Don’t lose hope. Don’t give up just yet. Even though there is so much wrong going on in your community, even though there are 66,000 rapes reported a year. Even though it looks like your children are heading into a life of uncertainty. If you PRESS ON, and hold on to God, God will bless you, and use you as His bride to heal this land. Be blessed daughters of Christ.
