Youth and Prison Ministry. Beaufort West.

We had the honour of ministering in two high schools, at the Wooden Cross coffee shop ministry, and in the local prison.  The message was the same, and the opportunity was given to make Jesus their Lord and Saviour. And they accepted.

Message Summary:

See what [an incredible] quality of love The Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the Children of God!  1John 3:1

I looked to drugs for help. But when I would wake up the next day, I would be alone, afraid and empty. I looked to alcohol, but that never done me any good. I looked to bad friends, and they helped to destroy my life. I ended up in Jail, because I deliberately made the worst choices. When I came out of prison, my life was shattered, life was terrible. I chose to blow my brains out, because of all the misery. But I was so scared to pull the trigger. I was so alone in my room that day. I was so very scared. I called upon Jesus to help me. I cried and told Him that I know I have messed up. I begged Him to change my life. And He did. God gave me victory over drugs and failures, over sadness and misery. He gave me a second chance, and I am very happy today. I love Him, and He loves me.

He loves you too you know. He longs to do the same in your life. Jesus wants for you to be His very own children. He is the Perfect Father. He Loves you and does not want you to go down the same road I travelled once. He wants to spare you the agony. This is only possible, if you allow Jesus to be your God.  What do you say? Will you make Him Lord of your life? If yes, say this prayer after me:

Lord Jesus, come into my heart and be my God. Amen
